Martha's Vineyard's Liz Ragone isn't your typical stained glass artist. With a background in woodworking and floral design, Liz infuses her work with a revitalized vintage feel. She breathes new life into antique and thrifted objects with her artistic touch. Nestled away in her charming West Tisbury cabin studio, glass shapes into anything you can imagine.
during our brand discovery session, we uncovered Liz’s creative process of breaking beautiful glass to let the small pieces reform together as an entirely new design. This concept of fragments coming together to form a whole resonated deeply and it became the guiding principle for her little glass cabin logo design.
as a designer, I believe that a single object can be many things to whoever looks at it, so I try to make my designs take many shapes as well. If you look at Liz’s cabin the top portion can break apart to become a sunbeam, symbolizing the essential light that illuminates her glasswork and brings her imagery to life.
